Good Writing

When you tell someone that you feel ugly, and they don’t respond, or worse yet, they agree with you, where do you put that? It is quite the same thing to say, “I read good writing once, and it wasn’t mine; my writing sucks.” They smile and respond with, “Don’t worry, it takes a lot of practice.”

Is there a category for filing those remarks?

All writers feel that the tomes and poems they produce are worth at least one read, or one good comment. Don’t they? Don’t you?

Well, if you’re like me, having no comments at all is worse than outright rejection.

Personally, I would cherish an outright, “You suck,” over the dead silence my writing brings, especially when it comes to friends and family. When I ask if they read a particular posting, I hear, “Oh, sorry, I didn’t! What’s the name of your blog page again?”

(Excuse me! I have to go and decorate. I’m having a pity party today!)

All comments are appreciated, thank you!

Welcome to Soliloquy. This blog page is for those who see the world around them without delusion. Those who recognize that humanity cannot cure itself, and that religion and politics continue to compound the issues that plague us. Whereas people claim to put faith in God, they turn to men, to religions for answers, and not their Creator. It has become obvious that religion has done nothing for humanity but confound and confuse, incite hatreds, and set all humanity at odds with one another.
