Thanks for checking out my blog’s abode! …
If you’re somewhat of an iconoclast and a nonconformist, you should probably like this site. Besides that, there are a few good stories, some poetry, and the daily thought cards (emphasis on daily) to peruse, if you’d like.
The primary purpose of my writing is to express my refusal to outsource my thinking to the world, nation, religion, et al.
Whereas most of the religious world believes that ritualism and speaking in sixteenth-century English make Our Creator happy, life taught me that there is no valid basis for that misconception.
Born into a faith that the world calls Christianity, I’m not “A Jesus Freak,” but rather, a pragmatist. After seventy-four years of life, I know that faith in ‘a’ God comes naturally to us, and it doesn’t go wrong until RELIGION becomes involved, or rather, until we become involved with it. Only then, when the “translators” and “interpreters” begin telling us what it says that, for lack of a better term, things go to hell (pun intended).
IF EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT, IT CAN’T BE WRONG?
Believe that if you’d like, but I, for one, disagree! It can be wrong, and it is!
